Undergraduate opportunities in environmental science

UW College of the Environment
2019

It’s in the lab and in the field. It’s local solutions and global problems. It’s new technology and ancient stories. It’s our planet and your future. At the University of Washington’s College of the Environment, students can explore the environment from the Earth’s core to the cosmos using high tech approaches to solve real-world sustainability issues.

To attract prospective undergraduates to environmental science, we followed five students who push the boundaries of what this academic work can look like. And we tried to break a few of the rules of typical college recruitment videos. This two-minute film anchors UW Environment’s undergraduate web portal and is shared during live presentations to high school students.
