High Hopes is a finalist in the Ocean Film Challenge
We’re excited to share that our film High Hopes, on ocean acidification and Dungeness crab, has been named a finalist in Dr. Sylvia Earle’s Ocean Film Challenge. The challenge asked filmmakers to submit work that chronicles the ways we are changing our oceans and celebrates actions we can take to mitigate this impact.
All eight finalist films will screen at the Environmental Film Festival in the Nation’s Capital on March 23, and then tour to the International Wildlife Film Festival in April and Audfest in June. The film challenge kicks off a high-profile initiative to move a billion people to act in support of the ocean on Blue Out Day, June 8, 2018.
