New testimonials for Methow Headwaters
Since we completed our film for the Methow Headwaters campaign, we’ve continued to collect testimonials from our valley neighbors in support of a mineral withdrawal and permanent protection from industrial-scale mining. Each of the nine videos we’ve produced focuses on a different community asset in the Methow Valley. “When we think about something potentially as disruptive as industrial-scale mining in this valley,” says wildlife biologist Scott Fitkin, “we should keep in mind the investment that’s already been made here on behalf of fish and wildlife.” We recently added statements from Jesse Davis and Carmen Vanbianchi on hunting areas, Therese Ohlson on public land and Scott Fitkin on fish and wildlife.
