Great Outdoors University
In October we got a last-minute call from the Tennessee Wildlife Federation to document their Great Outdoors University program. Eight youth from inner-city Memphis were on their way out to Washington for a long weekend in the North Cascades. Our job was to collect photographs, video and interviews for a film the Federation was producing. We met the group at the Hannegan Pass trailhead near Mt. Baker and hiked up to Hannegan Camp with them. We throughly enjoyed getting to know the group and learning about this ambitious Scouting program that’s providing a great opportunity for kids in Tennessee.
