Vote for us: Nau’s Grant for Change
In case you haven’t heard of it, Nau is a small clothing company with big ideas. One of those ideas is their first annual Grant for Change – a $10,000 grant supporting those who instigate lasting, positive change in their communities – and we were one of the 10 original nominees!
This funding would enable us to work with local researchers to produce a series of multimedia stories that explore the impacts of global climate change through people that live and work in the Pacific Northwest. Lots of amazing athletes, artists and activists have been nominated. . . but Nau can only give one grant per year. So, go browse the inspiring people, great projects and eco-friendly clothes, and then rate our project highly and tell everyone you know to do the same. (Registration is required.) Thanks!
P.S. Rumor has it that we have McKenzie Funk to thank for this nomination. Check out his recent article, Arctic Landgrab, in National Geographic. And watch for his upcoming book, Best Laid Plans.
