Benj will teach a course on digital photography at North Cascades Institute’s Environmental Learning Center on September 11-13, 2009. The three day course, “Capturing the Cascades,” will include field trips to a number of locations along the Highway 20 corridor. Evenings will be spent learning the basics of post-production and RAW workflow in the computer lab. This is fourth time I’ve taught at this amazing location and it gets better every time! A few weeks later, on October 2-4, 2009, Sara and I will return to the Learning Center to co-lead “Will Write for Change: Communication Tools and Techniques for Activists.” We are honored to join Bill Dietrich from the Seattle Times, Eric Deplace from Sightline, and Karen Uffelman from ONE/Northwest for this weekend workshop.
