Blue Earth launches lecture series
This past Saturday, Blue Earth launched a series of Saturday afternoon photographer presentations at the Henry Art Gallery. Despite a football game and a tempting sun break, the turnout was fantastic to see Daniel Beltra share his stunning and timely work on the Amazon rainforest. Daniel has a phenomenal archive of aerial work documenting both extreme drought and flooding in the river basin and it was great to see his full portfolio.
The series will continue when photographer Camille Seaman visits Seattle on January 10, 2009. (Check out her new Big Cloud series). Sara and I will present on March 14, 2009, and Tim Matsui will be the speaker on May 9, 2009.
